This page should be published for the following reasons:
1) Until 1960s "Afghanistani" was the dominant identity markers for people of Afghanistan. It has been widely used among diasporas in Iran, European countries, and the United States. Check for instance UN website, especially UNHCR in Iran for refugees, they use "Afghanistan افغانستانی" to refer to Afghans refugees in Iran (https://www.unhcr.org/ir/fa/refugees-in-iran/)
2) More importantly, Afghanistan has the most refugee and displaced people in the world. Category of "Afghanistani" is a way to relate to Afghanistan. As mentioned earlier, identity is constantly changing or is constantly evolving. Refugees live in a transnational world, sometime, they do not associate with a particular geographical location. That is why the category of "home" and "host" is becoming problematic.
3) "Afghanistani" should be on its own because it is an umbrella term for all citizens of Afghanistan irrespective of their ethnic and religious background. "Afghanistani" is a term that can apply to Afghan/Pashtun, Hindu, Sikhs, Hazaras, Tajiks, Uzbeks, Turkman, and all other ethnic groups. If you put quotation mark around "Afghanistani" on Google. You will get a lot of results pointing to articles, books, essays, and topics that are discussed among Afghanistani people.
